You walk into a room and see a bed. On the bed there are two dogs, four cats, a giraffe, five cows and a duck. There are also three chickens flying above the bed. How many legs are on the floor?
Since all of the animals are on the bed and no other furniture is mentioned in the room, there are six legs on the floor. Four legs from the bed and your own two legs as you stand in the room, amazed that someone managed to get so many animals onto a bed. And the ceiling must be vaulted to fit a giraffe. Also, who’s on cleanup duty?

I’ll say zero.
You are assuming that it’s a poster bed or similar? What if it’s a pedestal or platform bed? No legs there. I stand on my feet, no legs there.

Chickens don’t fly around so they could be laying on the floor so could be 10 legs unless you count feet too to which there would be 12 counting yours

@Nikki You should tell the chickens they don’t fly around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03BO8WCwWas

Why would ur legs be on the floor if your walking on your feet.. And bed posts legs there are four. That’s the answer four from the bed. Cause ur on your feet.. And some call them bed legs or posts …

I’m still saying 6… 4 legs on the bed and yes my legs because if I saw all that madness I would probably pass out… So my legs would be touching the floor

my bed is a pedestal bed so it doesn’t have any legs. And if feet don’t count then the answer would be 0. Honestly, not enough information to answer it definitively.

Actually the bed could just be a mattress and in that case there are no legs on the floor. The bed could have a frame with 2 legs and in that case there would be 2. Or there could be 4 legs from the bed. The persons legs are not on the floor their feet are on the floor.

Chickens do fly. They certainly did on my aunt and uncles farm. Also the have feet just like people. There are only four legs on the floor.

I agree 100% of None. Anatomically speaking, we stand on our feet. Beds do not have legs but posts or even feet. If we are focusing on the organics of the question we are negating the fact that the bed may just have a wooden frame such as a ‘Platform’ style. The riddle is not well constructed and left open way too many holes in the plot.

You guys have brought up valid points that I hadn’t considered. I’m open to suggestions on how to improve the teaser.

Depends on the bed as it doesnt tell you the size or make if the bed has legs

The answer is ZERO….
You cannot be counted as your feet are on the floor, not your legs.
Since beds can have a various number of legs depending on design and size, you have to use the most logical theory to get one answer, so the bed has to have no legs to gain one answer.
