Seconds in a Year

How many seconds are there in a year?

Hint: You don’t need a calculator

24. If you said 12 for January 2nd, February 2nd, etc that’s close, but you forgot about January 22nd, February 22nd and so on. If you are a math whiz and didn’t need a calculator to perform 60 x 60 x 24 x 365, then 31,536,000 works too. If you used 365.25 to account for leap year, then you are a human calculator, but even that’s not entirely accurate due to the leap second. And even accounting for that, it’s only an approximation that there are 365.2422 days in a year.

there are 31,536,000 in a year. To prove it right 1year=365days 1day=24 hours 1hour =60 minutes 1minute=60 seconds therefore 365x24x60x60=31,536,000 seconds i a year. To prove it, use your calculator and calculate it u will find out de same thing or if u dont find the same thing, u made mistake in your calculations.

My question was simple it wasn’t about dates it was about fractions of minutes seconds 3156000 was the answer to my question. How many of these seconds in a year have we wasted. And thinking of it now how many really continue to waste. For me not another single one second for life is so precious and time it’s so precious. To waste any more would be selfish and stupid as for me never again this simple question answered a lot more answers that I needed to hear

The closest answer would be in accordance with the tropical year, natural year and 3 others. Rounding to the nearest second the calculation would include 365 days, 5hours, 48 minutes, 46 seconds or 60 x 60 x 24 x 365.25 -(60 x 12 +46

This is a very technical question, and calls for the most intelligent of minds to decipher it. No lowly creatures below myself could satisfactorily answer this correctly.

As for the person who said “they said seconds, not nds” I dont know of a single day that has twenty two nds in it.
The problem here is that due to scientific technical bull and political correctiveness, we cant really call them seconds as over time, time has changed. This would discriminate against the seconds of the 1800s to now, especially since the world is slowing down in its spin. This demonstrates that over time the speed could have been faster or slower when we werent around. So a more specific question needs to be asked, such as “How many seconds are there in the year 2018?”.
This year so far I have had plenty of seconds. Why last night I had two plates of spaghetti. Id estimate that a year has enough seconds in it to feed a third world country.
This being said it demonstrates that a second can be a measurement of food as well as a measurement of time…or distance as one strange creature described it although this would be a secondary second by definition.
Another instance of seconds would be in meetings, where people pass motions and another seconds the motion. I call that a gastric issue, probably revolving around the initial seconds as formerly mentioned. The more motions passed, it seems that there are more who want to second those motions, which means that there are a lot of motions to seconds. I believe there are more motions to seconds, as not every motion is seconded, so a tangential question could be “How many motions are there in a year…sorry, in the year 2018?”.

31,536,000 is my answer because 60 seconds are in a minute and 60 minutes are in an hour so I multiplied 60 times 60 and multiplied that number by 24 and multiplied that by 365 and got 31,536,000

None…Seconds are just in minutes….also could be considered correct.

There is 12 seconds in a year. To prove it January 2, February 2, March 2, April 2, etc.
