Sorry Dan; there is a famous river in Queenstown New Zealand, that runs uphill?
I have seen it personally!
So, water can climb?

That’s interesting. Perhaps we can get out of that by saying that climbing in this context (the opposite of fall) is different than going uphill. So we’d need to have water that goes straight up (as in the opposite of a waterfall) naturally. I guess a geyser might be an exception. Any suggestions on improving the riddle would be welcome.
