A Final Screech
I saw a strange creature,
Long, hard, and straight,
Thrusting in a round, dark, opening,
Preparing to discharge its load of lives,
Puffing and squealing noises accompanied it,
Then a final screech as it slowed and stopped.
Note: This may not be appropriate for younger ages.
A subway train.

After I read the first 3 sentences i thought this would be some Skinwalker type stuff, after I read the whole a second time, I realized why the warning at the bottom was there

Im 10 years old and it said a warning then i read the riddle but i did not get it so i pressde “show answer” and the answer was a subway train and now im even more confused cuz if the answer is a subway train then why did it have a warning

Oh. Oh my god. You know if you hadn’t put a warning on this saying it may not be appropriate but the answer was just subway train, I would not have figured out WHY the warning was there because I completely did not read it out of the context of ‘what mundane object does this riddle describe?’ All you had to do was say nothing and I wouldn’t have even thought of it. Pretty sure the warning is unnecessary. This will fly right over the heads of most actual children.

When I saw the word screech, I knew it was a subway train.
