Favorite Pet is a Fish
I died and came back to life. My blood is not easily able to go through my body. My favorite pet is a fish. Who am I?
A shark. Sharks experience tonic immobility, also known as apparent death, where they appear to have died. Blood does not easily flow through their bodies, forcing sharks to swim continuously to circulate their blood. Lastly, sharks have pet fish called Remora (sometimes called suckerfish). They feed on parasites on the sharks and leftovers, and they use the shark as transport and protection.
A big thanks to Saravana for answering this.

A cat works great for those two hints. What about their blood not easily going through their body?

Cat’s conserve heat by slowing down the flow of their blood. (thanks wikipedia!)

Really? You learn something every day. A cat may be the answer then.

The earth, a meteor hit the earth supposedly and destroyed it.then it began to grow things again or came back to life, the earths core moves very slowly do to its density, and its favorite pet is a “star”fish. best guess i have.

The more I think about cats as the answer, I don’t think it fits. They slow the flow of their blood to conserve heat, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t flow easily, it’s just slower. I still think there may be a better answer out there somewhere.

a vampire. or cat. vampires dont have blood they cant die

See my above comments about cat as the answer. Vampires don’t have any blood so it seems a bit odd to say “my blood” doesn’t go easily through my body. I’m also not aware of any vampires having a fish as a pet…anyone know any different?

I agree with Cody it is a person with heart problems, they could have been brought back to life after having a heart attack, fish are good pets as watching them swim around relaxes you and the narrowed arteries make it difficult for the blood to flow around their bodies
Dan says

I am thinking the answer is more specific than a person with a heart attack, because not all people with heart attacks consider fish to be their favorite pets. Having a pet rock can be very relaxing too :)

I think helping them live longer with less symtoms would justify making a fish there favourite pet, I don’t think a rock is scientifically proven to lower your blood pressure though and its not a domesticated animal
Dan says
February 25, 2014 @ 16:52
It doesn’t say domesticated animal, just pet, and we all know about the pet rock craze, right? But my point is not every person with a heart condition has a fish as their favorite pet.

Lazarus from the bible! he rose from the dead, when he was deceased blood can’t flow through his body & he was a fisherman hence favorite pet is a fish!

It’s a shark. Died and coming back to life is tonic immobility which is a mysterious shark behaviour. Blood not easily flow through my body is referring to a shark has to constantly swim or else it would drown. That is the reason why we find many sharks trapped in safety nets on beaches often dies, they can no longer swim. There is a fish called the remora which often accompany a shark. It eats the left overs of a sharks kill, thus it’s pet fish.

A turtle. Some turtles hibernate “die and come back to life” at the bottom of ponds, under the ice. During that time, there blood doesn’t circulate very much. They are accompanied by fish.

I’m still stumped on this one. I love everyone’s input, but I just don’t feel like we’ve landed on an answer that fully satisfies the riddle.

If not Jesus Christ, who died but rose again and his blood of Life must easily flow to his people.
How about a ‘Mermaid’. They may die but has the magic wand to let them live again if they want. Then they live and love fishes around them.

And does the blood of a Mermaid cannot easily flow throughout her body?
Maybe Yes, similar to shark as explained by Raja.

someone who drowned and got saved by a fishlike creature. they died, came back to life, and asuming they’re thankful their favorite animal would be a fish/fishlike creature.

i think the answer is Lazarus from the bible,he is famous & widely known for rising from the dead which satisfies the first part of the riddle. Obviously blood would not flow easily through his body when he was dead & after further research (including my local priest) i found out Lazarus was a fisherman & obviously a fisherman would have a fish as a pet or collection as a stamp collector would collect stamps or dog lover would have a dog as a pet.

I too think it’s Jesus Christ. Communion wine (representing the blood) is not easily able to go through communion wafers (representing the body). And his symbol is a fish.

I think its a “fish tank”
1. Fish tank was made by glass, they melted the silicon and then form a brand new glass fish tank. Which sounds like died then come back to life.
2. Blood cannot go through the skin. Glass is not permeable The water in the fish tank cannot go through the glass.
3. Fish tank’s favorite is no doubt a fish….
Let me know what do you think of this one.
Tricky One says
July 26, 2014 @ 10:59
I agree with Gan, but I have different reasons.
1. Modern aquariums are often electrically powered, so by plugging them in they come back to life.
2. They need a pump to circulate the water.
3. Obvious answer.
