My answer was 7.
7 is the only remaining number (0 to 9) that does not have any curves, only straight lines.

R only applies to certain vehicles and therefore it cannot be true in all cases.

(1*3)+(3-1)=5
(2*4)+(4-2)=10

(2*2)-1=3
(3*3)-2=7
(4*4)-3=13
Answer is 8

1+3+5=9
2+4+3=9

ONE, three letters, -1 gives 2;
THREE , five letters , -1 gives 4;

According to my view answer should be 7
1+3=4+1=5
2+4=6+1=7
There may be so many patterns to solve a puzzle….
