What a coincidence, then, that in pack of playing cards there are 13 kinds, 52 total and 4 suits. I’d just have left an empty space after the 4!

Janet, that’s what I came up with, as well. I couldn’t do anything else with the 4 except for their being 4 people in a bridge game.

13 weeks in a quarter 52 weeks in a year 24 hours in a day 60 minutes in an hour ???

I looked at it as fractions. 1/2, 3/4 and 5/? If you stick with the pattern of odd numbers in the numerator and doubling the denominator then to complete the puzzle the ? becomes an 8.
