Thirteen is an eight letter word however it only contains 6 letters. Not wrong doesnt always mean right. Dunno this time. Ill leave it up to you but it probably will never be agreed upon

I think what it means is 6 letter word is Dozens( ex 2 Dozens of roses is 24). But if you removed the last letter which is S then it become dozen means 12.

I got this as a bonus on my English test and I think I’m very smart for thinking this way but, The word thirteen has T H I R E N it uses t twice and e twice. Therefore the word thirteen has six different letters and if you subtract one from thirteen you get twelve.
