Long legs, crooked thighs,
Little head and no eyes.
No burn, make a ting,
Use hands, but no ring.

A pair of tongs.

Some form a parliament,
Others a company, congregation or convocation,
The mob can see a murder, or clamor and wake,
A bouquet is presented when flushed.
What are we?
Birds. These are collective nouns for groups of birds.

I Live In A Busy Place In The City
I live in a busy place in the city,
I’ll let you stay with me for awhile,
If you don’t feed me, I can get you into trouble.
What am I?
A parking meter.
A Trail of Silver
If you carried my burden, you would be crushed.
Though not rich, I leave a trail of silver.
What am I?
A snail. They carry their homes on their back, and a house would crush a person (even the tiny houses). And the trail of silver is a bit of a stretch, but it’s the slimy, gooey substance snails leave behind them.
Mountain Covered With Snow
Why doesn’t a mountain covered with snow catch cold?
Because it has a snowcap. ;) I know, it was more joke than riddle, but I found it amusing.
I Run Cold and Hot
I run cold and hot,
I look blue but am red.
What am I?
Blood. People can be referred to as hot blooded, and certain animals are cold-blooded. Your veins look blue, but the blood is actually red.
Shuns the Light of Day
What must be in the oven yet can not be baked?
Grows in the heat yet shuns the light of day?
What sinks in water but rises with air?
Looks like skin but is fine as hair?
Yeast.
