You walk into a room and see a bed. On the bed there are two dogs, four cats, a giraffe, five cows and a duck. There are also three chickens flying above the bed. How many legs are on the floor?
Since all of the animals are on the bed and no other furniture is mentioned in the room, there are six legs on the floor. Four legs from the bed and your own two legs as you stand in the room, amazed that someone managed to get so many animals onto a bed. And the ceiling must be vaulted to fit a giraffe. Also, who’s on cleanup duty?

None because you don’t stand with your legs but by feet, and the bed has also no legs but a bed post or it might be a flat bed

I’d say 0…because ur feet are on floor not legs… Plus what if bed has wheels not legs or is flat to the ground…..

technically its 12, as you have 2 legs, the bed has 4 and chickens dont fly so thats another 6!

It sounds to me like we’re talking about a bed of straw in a barn?

You need to have atleast 10 bed legs to support those animals 😅

First of all, it does not state the bed was set up with the legs on the floor. You must assume it.
2nd, the person who walked in, may not be standing, but still walking. One leg at a time.
3rd, no legs were on the floor at least by the person walking in. His feet might be, but not his legs. Does the bed even have legs? Maybe just a box spring. Maybe the legs had pads, or adjustable feet.
This riddle leaves a lot to the imagination.

None. The light isn’t on.

I disagree with 6. There are only 4 legs on the floor, the 4 from the bed. My legs are not on floor since I am not sitting on the floor, I am standing on the floor and my feet are touching the floor not my legs.

Actually there is no definative answer, it’s a flawed riddle
People assume 4 legs on the bed, some beds have 6, some 5, some have none
Also you walk on your feet, so legs not touching the ground
But even if you count feet as part of your legs, it depends if you are wearing shoes, if you are, you are not touching the ground, so technically not on the floor, you are on your shoes

NOTE: The paragraph ONLY describes what is seen on and above the bed. It does not describe anything else. So there could be a zoo standing on the floor. Thus discounting any possible correct answer because that information is not provided yet was asked.
So there is NO correct answer.

The answer is 10
2 legs 🦵🦵
4 legs of the bed 🛏️
4 legs of the chair 💺

It’s been said before, but I’ll say it again: Unless you are sitting on the floor, your legs are not on the floor.
Also, “Diane” mentioned a chair. There is no chair mentioned here. Someone on Facebook changed it to say that the chickens were flying above a chair, but that isn’t in the original riddle.

the bed had a comforter depicting one giraffe, 5 cows, a duck, and a 3 chickens hang from a ceiling on a rotary that spins them around to help the kid sleep with the 2 dogs, and 4 cats… so.. would there be 2 being ‘yours’ or none since you are the one answering the question thus just a ‘spectator’? or is there a child in the room as well? Lol, oh right, derp, the bed, I focused too much on other details in my critical thought, so 4 or 6 depending if you count ‘you’
