You walk into a room and see a bed. On the bed there are two dogs, four cats, a giraffe, five cows and a duck. There are also three chickens flying above the bed. How many legs are on the floor?
Since all of the animals are on the bed and no other furniture is mentioned in the room, there are six legs on the floor. Four legs from the bed and your own two legs as you stand in the room, amazed that someone managed to get so many animals onto a bed. And the ceiling must be vaulted to fit a giraffe. Also, who’s on cleanup duty?

The answer given as 6 by the riddler cannot possibly be correct – not all beds have legs, whilst on those who do, some have feet. If you count the person….well, their legs aren’t on the floor, their FEET are.
So, it could be 6 (bed with 6 legs and no feet) 4 (bed with 4 legs and no feet) or ZERO: bed has a base but no legs, and the person’s FEET are on the floor. Actually, there are even more possibilities, so how the official can be “6” is beyond me!!

I’m going to say two, only because it doesn’t state if the bed is properly on a frame, And a king size frame has more then four legs. Your own feet (legs) are on the floor.

There are 6 legs your own 2 legs and 4 from the bed and also chickens cant fly so if they are standing on the floor there will be 10 but if they are on the bed there is only 6

Your LEGS are not on the floor…your feet are…so if the bed has legs, then it’s 4

The correct answer is NONE. A human stands on its FEET, the legs only touch the floor if you are lying down, sitting on the floor or don’t possess feet. The bottom part of the leg of a bed is called a FOOT, so even a bed doesn’t stand on legs, it stands on feet.
Therefore, the correct answer is NONE.

And then a double foot amputee walks into the room and really throws the riddle universe into chaos
