The answer to “What Looks Like Food” is probably food because if you see the word food it looks like food, food tastes like food, food smells like food, food sounds like food when you cook it, some food is grown in dirt like food, food fills your stomach like food but the word food is not food.

I just got an email suggesting a poisonous but edible item as the answer and combined with Michael’s suggestion of mushroom, the answer could be a poisonous mushroom. It fits all of the requirements but wouldn’t be considered a food because food is a substance consumed to provide nutrition, not to kill you.

Any comments? I’ll give it a few days in case anyone has a better solution.
