I Turn Around Once
I turn around once,
What is out will not get in.
I turn around again.
What is in will not get out.
What am I?
A key.

This took me like 2 months to do and my friend recommended this website to me and it took me like 1 minute to figure it out

‘lock’ is as good an answer, but in either case, one of the conditions is unmet. Turn the key once, it’s locked; turn it again, it’s unlocked. Both conditions indicate locked. Bad riddle.
(I came up with ‘lock’ on my own)

A cup! Turned once won’t let water that’s outside into it. Turned again, won’t let the water inside it out.
