1. First bring the chicken over, leaving fox and sack of grain behind.
2. Return empty handed and bring the sack of grain across the river –> but take chicken back across river
3. Leave chicken behind and take fox across the river.
4. Then return empty handed to bring the chicken over.

Kill the fox
Get a cage for the chicken
The chicken will eat the grain and the fox will eat the chicken even when your looking in real life
the chicken is loose and is very hard to get on the boat he will probably run off of the boat and drown
you have a vicious monster behind you in a boat who will eat you

The grain has no promblems

Take the chicken over first. Go back and bring the grain next, but instead of leaving the chicken with the grain, come back with the chicken. Leave the chicken on the first side and take the fox with you. Leave it on the other side with the grain. Finally, go back over and get the chicken and bring it over.

Take Chicken over 1stThen return for the Fox taking the chicken back leaving the Fox on its own,leaving the chicken on original side Take the grain Leaving Fox and grain on opposite side return for chicken job done
Or you could hang the chicken upside down on the sail of boat at the top out of reach from fox , and take , Fox, The turn for grain And let chicken down no animals killed chicken hung by its legs for 2 trips but still alive .

My wife had a funny and easier solution than anyone…. 1) Take the chicken over and drop it off. 2). Go back and get the fox and throw it in the river (they can swim across the river beside your boat), and take the grain and paddle faster than the fox. The moral of this efficient answer… “Think outside the box….even if you work in a cubicle”….Bob F

Take the chicken over. Come back and get the fox, but on the way over, net a duck from the river. Drop off the fox and feed it the duck, That’l keep it busy while you go back to get the grain.
