I say Nesha’s answer of mask is a better answer than makeup. Makeup is most often used to enhance what is real rather than cover it.

A lie works as well
Covers the truth and can hide whats real and some peopl get courage from lying
Conspiracies can work too peoe get courage from being part of a conspiracy
And of course liquid courage “alcohol” it can hide the truth ever got to bed at 2 with a 10 and wake up and 10 with a 2

I think gloves is most appropriate and lies as lies cover what is the truth and hide reality.
