Tall in Morning, Short at Noon

Tall in the morning, short at noon, gone at night but I’ll be back soon. What am I?

A shadow.

gravity streches you out at night, so your tall in the morning, during the day gravity pushes you down, making you short, and at night your under your blankets, someone not looking at your head could say that your “gone” and at day your back again (unless your in a coma or are not a morning person)

It would not be correct to say that ‘gravity stretches you out’, but one’s joints do stretch out at night and compress as the day goes by, thanks to the amount of weight you put on them.
